Abrogation of Art 370 will open job portals in J&K: Gupta | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 24: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has said that abrogation of Article 370 from the Indian Constitution is best solution of curbing unemployment in the Jammu and Kashmir. In a handout issued here today, State Secretary of BJP Advocate Vibodh Gupta has said that state government’s new employment policy is against the unemployed youth and infact, injustice with the degree holders. He said that there is big option to solve this problem and the solution of this problem lies in abrogation of Article 370. Gupta said that if Article 370 is removed from the Indian Constitution, portals of employment will open for the unemployed youth of this state. Pointing out various drawbacks of Article 370, Gupta said that village level development is not possible without 73rd amendment in Panchayat Raj Act and the same has not been extended to Jammu and Kashmir because of Article 370. He said that if the same is abrogated, Centre will directly fund village Panchayats and there will be outstanding development in the villages. He said that corporate sector of India cannot install big industries in J&K due to restrictions under Article 370 which force state technocrats to move outside the state for jobs in the companies. Giving one more example, BJP leader said that domination of Kashmir based political leaders in state policies is only due to the reason that no delimitation has taken place in the state. He said that once it will take place, Jammu people will also play role in the policies and it is why Kashmir based political leaders are against the abrogation of Article 370. Gupta has said that it is a proper time for all the people of Jammu & Kashmir State especially Muslims to break their silence and openly come forward in support of the abrogation of Article 370. He said that once it will be abrogated, the unemployment will remain things of past in near future.
