National food security bill draft approved | | | Early Times Report JAMMU: State cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister approved draft National Food Security Bill. Cabinet also approved payment of compensation to the Kamas of land belonging to Rakhs and farms wing of Agriculture, Production Department, utilized or being utilized for establishment of a Central University, Kashmir at Ganderbal. He also okayed grant of Ex-gratia relief to departmental and non-departmental persons who are killed or grievously incapacitated due to electric related accidents. Promotion of Selection Grade Officers to the special scale of Rs. 37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs. 8700 of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service from 19-11-2011 was also approved in favour of Atta-ur-Rehman Natnoo, Mohammad Akbar Ganai, Peerzada Hafiz-ullah Shah, Arif-Ullah, Mir Tariq Ali, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, Ghulam Rasool Khan, Gulzar Hussain and Mrs. Sheela Bhagat. Cabinet accorded sanction to the promotion of T. Angchook, Director Fisheries, J&K to a Common Pool post in the pay scale of Rs. 18400-500-22400 (pre-revised) now revised to PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs. 10000 with immediate effect. Creation of two posts of Helicopter pilots on deputation basis from IAF on the terms and conditions applicable to the Helicopter Pilots who are on deputation with the state civil aviation department in civil aviation department found also cabinet's nod. Cabinet also approved the implementation of state data centre project in Information and Technology Department and okayed filling up of the post of Chief Engineer, Roads and Buildings, Kashmir. |
