| BSF ELIMINATES TWO JEM MILITANTS IN PULWAMA DISTRICT | | | JAMMU, January 09,2007.
Border Security force (BSFP achieved a major success when it eliminated two dreaded militants of JeM outfit yesterday in Rather Mohalla, Dalwanpura in District Pulwama. On receiving specific information, a team of 42 Battalion of Border Security Force carried out an operation in the area and two militants were sighted, who on seeing BSF troops opened fire at them. The fire was retaliated by BSF troops and in the ensuing encounter, two two terrorists of JeM outfit namely Shabir Ahmed Rather, set code Dhanush S/0 Abdul Aziz Resident of Pulwama District and Muzamil Zihadi (not yet identified) were killed.
During search operation of the area, a large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from the encounter site. |
