| Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Tournament | | PG faces Commerce College in summit-clash | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Nov 25: Commerce College Jammu and combined Post Graduate Department of Jammu University defeated their rivals in the semifinals today to face each other in the title-clash of the Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Tournament, here tomorrow.
Earlier, in the first semifinal played today, Commerce College, Jammu prevailed over Government Degree College, Udhampur in a hard fought contest by (3-1) with the scores of 29-27, 22-25, 25-15 and 25-23.
Meanwhile, in the second semifinal, PG Department JU trounced MAM College again by 3-1 margin with the scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-21.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kathua, JL Sharma alongwith the Principal, Government Degree College, Kathua, Dr Nater Singh interacted with the players of both the teams, which participated in first match, while in the second semis, Dr AK Malhotra, Principal Women College Kathua was introduced with the players of both participating teams. Dr Malhotra laid emphasis on spirit and discipline.
