| Soldier, 2 others injured in militant firing in Kashmir | | | Srinagar, Nov 25 : A soldier of Territorial Army (TA) and two others were injured when some unidentified militants opened fire in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, a police spokesperson said here today.
He said, gunmen fired upon Lance Naik Reyaz Ahmad Lone at bus stand Naidkhai, Bandipora.
Besides Lone, two other persons standing in the area were also injured in the firing, he said and adding the injured were hospitalised.
This was the first such firing incident in the area after more than a decade.
A massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
However, no militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
