| 2 bootleggers held at Ramban | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 25: Two bootleggers were today apprehended by police at two different places in Ramban along with illicit liquor.
Acting on a tip-off about the illegal sale of illicit liquor at Bowli Bazar in Ramban, a police party led by Ramban police station SHO, Inspector Varinder Singh caught hold of a bootlegger.
The accused was identified as Sandeep Singh, son of Des Raj of Hochak, Banihal. Twenty four bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from him.
Meanwhile, another police party led by Banihal police station SHO, Inspector Mohammad Showkat arrested Mudassar Iqbal Wani, son of Mohammad Iqbal Wani of Kaskoot, Banihal, from Banihal town along with five liquor bottles.
Cases in this connection were registered at concerned police stations.
