Saroori seek stringent action against absentee teachers
11/25/2011 11:30:30 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, NOVEMBER 25– Taking strong notice of absenteeism in schools, MLA, Inderwal, Mr. G. M. Saroori has sought stringent action against the absent teachers.
The Legislator during his surprise inspection of GPS, Ikhwa Patnazi, GMS Banwarah, GPS Patnazi and GHS Patnazi found these government educational institutions closed with staff posted there playing truancy.
Mr. Saroori also talked to Director School Education, Jammu asking him to take stern action against the erring teachers to save the student community from the dark future.
The Legislator said that it was irony of sorts that teachers are not discharging their duties with responsibility. “We can’t afford negligent behavior of teachers as government is focused on promoting literacy and developing younger generation as capable and enlightened citizens”, he observed.
