Shakti Nagar Welfare forum pays tribute to 26/11 victims | | | Early Times Report JAMMU , November 26 : The residents of Shakti Nagar, under the banner of “Shakti Nagar Welfare Forum” organised a program to pay Homage & Tribute to the Martyrs and Victims of Mumbai Terrorist Attack on the third anniversary 26/11, 2008. While speaking on the occasion, Dineshwar Singh Jamwal, President Universal Foundation, who was the main speaker on the occasion, said that India, is still awaiting decisive action against perpetrators of the crime. Jamwal told the gathering that the people involved in the conspiracy and the mindless violence that was unleashed on Mumbai on 26/11, 2008, and the perpetrators of this crime are still roaming freely and delivering venom’s speeches in public places, in our neighbouring country. After paying homage to the martyrs of Mumbai Terror attack by lighting earthen lamps on the occasion, the members of the ‘Shakti Nagar Welfare Forum’ also discussed about the problems of their locality, specially the Sewer/Nallah, which flows through the heart of the Shakti Nagar area, which is a major headache for all the residents of this locality including many other problems of sanitation, drug abuse in their area, pathetic condition of their lanes and drains, and took a pledge that from now onwards, they will form a committee of the area and resolve these kind of issues on their own.
