| Woman among 2 killed in road accidents | | | REARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 26: A woman and a motorcyclist lost their lives in separate road accidents in Hiranagar and Nagri areas of Kathua today.
Srishta Devi (48), wife of Raj Kumar, was sitting on the pillion seat of the motorcycle of his son Rohit Sharma when a tractor hit them on Chakra Road in Hiranagar, Kathua. While Rohit survived unhurt, the woman was killed, police sources said.
She hailed from Jatwal. The tractor driver fled the spot. Police had registered a case against him and launched a manhunt to nab him.
In the other incident, a motorcyclist was killed after he was hit by a truck (JK02G/9163) at Nagri. He was identified as Muni Lal, son of Prithi Pal of Nagri.
Police had seized the truck and arrested its driver who was identified as Shoukat Ali, son of Wilayat Khan of Harni, Poonch.
