Sessions Court denies bail to Rusy Kohli allegedly duping over Rs 92 lacs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 26: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu has rejected the bail application of Gurpreet Singh @ Rusy Kohli s/o Maj General Kirpal Singh Kohli r/o Mumbai who was allegedly involved in cheating of Rs 92, 49, 520/-. Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Mr. Jang Bhadur Singh Jamwal has rejected the bail application of Gurpreet Singh @ Rusy Kohli resident of Mumbai allegedly involved in cheating of Rs 92, 49, 520/-. While rejecting bail Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Jang Bhadur Singh Jamwal observed that petitioner/accused has written many letters to the complainant where he has posed and claimed to be the sole Distributor of the Company, whereas, the Polaris Company is denying this aspect of the case, in a way the petitioner has tried to cheat not only the Company but the complainant also and has siphonized the amount of Rs. 92, 49,520/-. The petitioner/accused intermittently continued duping the P V Traders and other clients also and swindled the money. If such kinds of crimes are not discouraged, Court is satisfied that there is every likelihood that the entire country will be engulfed by such kind of criminals. With these observations Court dismissed the bail application. According to the complainant accused Rusy Kohli the Managing Director of Trans Asia Distribution Ltd Mauritius and the complainant had placed the order of 20 Snow Mobiles along with Rescue Sledges to accused and full payment of Rs 9249520/- has been made to the said accused on October 29, 2010. The complainant had made number of reminders through E-mail and telephonically to the said accused for the supply of Snow Mobiles but the said accused has not supplied the same to the complainant and he is only giving assurance to the complainant alleges that the said accused has cheated the complainant by not supplying the said equipment’s. Crime Branch after receiving this complaint has registered a case against the accused u/s 409/420 RPC and started investigation and arrested the accused.
