Cong Sarpanch arrested in Kishtwar under unlawful act. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Nov 26:- Kishtwar police arrested a Congress Sarpanch from Bus Stand Kishtwar on Friday evening in connection with collecting money on behalf of the HM ultras wanted by the National Investigating Agency (NIA) in connection with Delhi High Court blast. According to police Congress Sarpanch from Changher (Marwah) Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh@Bomb was arrested by Kishtwar police under unlawful activities act since he was involved in collecting money for Hizbul Mujahedeen militant outfit active in Marwah and Dachhan area of Kishtwar District. After receiving the complaints from the locals alleging Congress Sarpanch Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh is collecting donations for militants on the bases of hand written threat letters duly signed by the HM militants, the Marwah police registered an FIR No: 12/2011 at police station Marwah U/s 17 unlawful Act against Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh and started investigation into the matter. Kishtwar Police said that after receiving an input from the police sources about the movement of accused Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh at Bus Stand Kishtwar, Kishtwar police swung into action and arrested him. Police said that the arrest of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh is vital since he can provide a substantial leads about the hideouts of HM Militants involved behind September 7 Delhi High Court blast resulted into the killing of 16 and injury to 80 others. The police hopes that Ghulam Mohammad sheikh will provide vital clue about the HM network operating in Marwah and Dachhan area of Kishtwar District. NIA even has announced 10 lac cash reward each on Amir Kamal, Junaid Akram Malik and Shakir Hussain Sheikh@ Chota Hafiz wanted by NIA in Delhi High Court Blast case.
