| Law day observed in Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Nov 26: Law day was observed in the entire Udhampur district today and to mark the occasion a seminar was organized on the topic “Speedy Justice” in district Court Premises, under the Chairmanship of Brij Mohan Gupta, Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur.
Seminar was attended by Vinod Chatterjee Koul, Addl. District Judge, Udhampur, S.S. Bali, Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Sub-Judge, Khem Raj Sharama, Munsiff, (DMM) Udhampur and Amit Sharma, Munsiff, Udhampur Bar members.
Speaking on the occasion Sessions Judge, Udhampur highlighted the meaning and importance of Law Day and also informed the participants that our constitution provides for an independent and efficient Justice Delivery System.
Meanwhile law day was observed in Majalta court also where the occasion was held under the chairmanship of Chairmanship of Munsiff Preet Simran Kour Chairman Tehsil Legal service Committee who informed the participants about the role of law in society and aware litigants about their rights and duties and free legal services being provided by government. Adovate Susheel Kumar and Mohan Lal also spoke on the occasion
