Kranti Dal hails ban on pvt practice of docs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 26:Kranti Dal has welcomed the High Court’s Division Bench decision to ban private practice by doctors and tuition by Government teachers. The Kranti Dal hailed the decision in a meeting held under the leadership of its General Secretary Pritam Sharma and attended by Rajinder Bhagat (City President), Jagdish Sudan (City Gen Secy), Sankul Gupta (Youth President) and Vijay Kumar (Youth Gen Secy) along with presidents of different units. While speaking on the occasion, Pritam Sharma said that the decision given by High Court DB is beneficial for education and medical point of view. He said that Kranti Dal was raising the issue of ban over private practice of doctors and tuition by Government teachers since long. Sharma said the ban was necessary especially for the private practice of doctors, who were not caring patients in the hospital for their personal gains. He alleged the doctors have opened their private clinics and forced the patients to visit their clinics. Jagdish Sudan said that teachers remain busy in tuitions as a result the standard of education in government schools fall in the competitions and their result is also decrease day by day. Students forced by Govt. teachers and lecturers to take tuition otherwise they failed them or cut off their assignment marks. He said that the High Court decision will help especially those students who are economically weak and depends totally on Govt. schools.
