| Newly married woman goes missing from Purani Mandi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 27: A newly married woman went missing under mysterious circumstances from the ever-busy Purani Mandi market here Thursday last.
Sharuti Sharma (24), daughter of Kuldeep Kumar of Uchcha Pind, Billawar, was married to Rajiv Sharma -- an education department employee -- of Palli, Bishnah, on October 28 last.
Exactly 28 days after her marriage, she last Thursday visited her tailor in a boutique at Fattu Chogan here. Rajiv was accompanying her.
Quoting Rajiv, police said from Fattu Chogan, the couple went to Purani Mandi where they had snacks at a roadside kiosk at about 12.30 pm.
She, however, went missing under mysterious circumstances from the kiosk and was not seen after that.
Rajiv later brought the matter to the notice of Parade police post. Police were, however, yet to get any clue to her whereabouts.
