| SPO hurt in accidental fire | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 27: A special police officer (SPO) was wounded after his rifle went off accidentally at Gondi in Sudh Mahadev area of Udhampur today.
SPO Tej Singh, son of Devi Chand of Gondi, was on duty at Gondi police post when his service rifle went off accidentally and the bullet pierced his body, injuring him critically, police sources said.
He was undergoing treatment at the GMC hospital. The concerned police had,
however, registered a case in this regard.
