HSS hails ban on doctors’ private practice
11/28/2011 12:01:32 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 27: Press Conference jointly addressed by Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) has hailed the ban on private practice of doctors and private tuitions by government school teachers.
National President HSS Dimpy Kohli and General Secretary GI Singh
while talking to media persons expressed gratitude over the land mark
judgement delivered by J&K High Court regarding the ban on practice of
doctors who are in Government service and ban on private tuitions of
Government teachers.

Kohli said that judiciary is one of the strongest pillars of a
democratic country like India and judiciary is doing wonderful role in
redressing peoples’ general grievances. It is a well known fact that
Doctors working in Govt. Hospitals are not performing their duties
with dedication and devotion and patients are being neglected.
They are more concerned with their private practices because they are
minting lot of money and even advised their patients to visit their
clinics. Similar is the case with school and college teachers who are
more interested in private tuitions rather than imparting good and
quality education to students in schools and colleges. They are
charging exorbitant fees from private tuitions. Poor and unprivileged
class of the society cannot afford such high tuition fees.
So the children belonging to this class of society remains behind
other students and are not in a position to complete with privileged
students.
HSS demanded that proper procedure may be adopted in schools and
colleges so that the students may get result oriented education. HSS
also demanded that 20% quota must be reserved for poor and downtrodden
students for concession fee. The HSS leader said that if we find any
complaint against these tutorials regarding charging of exorbitant
fees Hindustan Shiv Sena will protest outside these centres.
