JWAM to stage dharna against errant traffic on Dec 2

JAMMU, Nov 28:The working committee members of the Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) will stage dharna against the worsening traffic problems in Jammu city on December 2 at "Mian Dido Chowk", Ambphalla.
The decision was taken in a meeting today attended by the Trade leaders, residents and the heads of the various trade unions and the mohalla committees.
The participants expressed strong resentment against the Govt for not taking any step to solve the traffic problem.
Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement addressing the meeting alleged and heavily came on the complete failure of the three years old state coalition Government led by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah as not even a single commitment and announcement made by the National Conference-Congress Government with the people.
He said that the Jammu District Development Board meeting decisions taken have not been implemented on ground even after 6 months of the DDB meeting held in the month of July 2011.
Sunil Dimple said that a "Strong Dharna will be staged against the coalition Govt. as it has failed to provide “basic amenities”, no development" is taking place to solve the traffic problem , curtailment of electricity , Drinking water and worst condition of roads in the Jammu city.
He demanded Chief Minster to allocate funds to solve the traffic problem prevailing in the Jammu City and start the immediate work of Flyovers at Rehari Chungi, Jewel Chowk and Vikram Chowk.
