| JKBWA constitutes Guru Gyagi Birthday celebration committee | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 28:Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association held its meeting at Shahzadpur Kothi, today.
The meeting was chaired by the Association Dy Chairman Capt Raj Kumar Kaith and attended by a large number of members.
Association General Secretary R L Kaith informed the members that 115th birthday of Sri Guru Gyagi Ji Maharaj is falling on February 7, 2012. For this, the Association constituted a Committee. He further said that the Committee was asked to start making preparations for the birth commemorative function to be organized on the birth day. The Committee comprised Capt Kamal Chand Motan, Capt Ram Lal Sargotra, Sub.Maj. Gunni Ram Kaith, Sub. Gian Chand Kaith, Sub. Narayan Dass Bassa, Hav. Uttam Chand Sandhu, Naib Sarpanch Ram Lal Lakhotra, Joginder Lakhotra, Hakikat Anmol, Chaman Lal Kaith, Harish Bhardwaj, G.C.Sandhu, Foreman Bua Ditta, Diwan Chand Tugga, Punnu Ram Kaith, Jagbandhan Motan, Ram Dass Kaith, Lal Chand Tugga, Sham Lal Kaith, Chuni Lal Kaith and Balbir Chand Kaith.
Later, the Association hailed the selection of a community girl, namely, Divya to MBBS course in London and congratulated her parents for this.
The Association also expressed its gratitude to Joshua Project for preparing and loading on its website the ‘Batwal Hindu Ethnic People Profile’ and asked the community members to view the same.
