| Sunrise Brigade dedicates bathing point for Pakhri villagers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 28:As part of various civic activities undertaken by the Army under “OP SADBHAVANA”, ) a ‘Bathing Point’ was inaugurated by Brig Kabindra Singh, Commander, Sunrise Brigade and handed over to the people of Pakhri village, today.
With an aim to provide a clean and hygienic facility to the residents of Pakhri village the Sunrise Brigade under aegis of Tiger Division has constructed the `Bathing Point’ for the people of Pakhri Vill, Distt Samba (Jammu). . This endeavour will not only improve the hygiene and sanitation standards of the village but will definitely be a step ahead in improving their quality of life. To ensure utilization by a majority of the population, wide publicity was given to the villagers and to local agencies. This project was conceived for the populace who could not afford the comforts of a hygienic bathing point in their place of residence, it has been constructed as part of “OP SADBHAVANA” through which the army has constantly been reaching out to people in remote areas and far flung villages and contributing towards their well being by undertaking various development activities.
