| Police rescued 11 bovines, 2 held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Nov 29:Police have arrested two bovine smugglers who were transporting eleven bovines in a truck for Kashmir valley.
According to police sources, during routine checking near Jakhani Nakka on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, a police party of Udhampur police station arrested two persons identified as Tarsem (driver) and Naresh (cleaner) who were transporting 11 bovines in a truck bearing number JK02S 1297 for Kashmir.
Police have seized the vehicle and also took the animals in its custody. A case under law is also registered by the authorities
