UDHAMPUR, Nov 29Bharatiya Janta Party women cell Udhampur has described the Government order pertaining to new recruitment policy providing fixed salary mode for fresh recruits as big joke with the unemployed youth.
Party held a meeting here under the chairmanship of senior party leader and State Executive member Manju Gupta.
Party leader Gupta said that it is a grave injustice with the qualified unemployed youth, who were looking for opportunities of Government job.
She said that BJP will support the students and youth, who have been agitating against the policy, if the Government failed to revoke the policy at the earliest.
She said that the salary of the Government employees is fixed under the civil services pay rules 2009 issued vide SRO 93 of April 15, 2009. He said that pay bands of all categories of Government employees are defined in the said SRO which can’t be altered, modified or reduced by issuance of mere Government order.
She deplored that such an adverse recruitment policy had come at a time when the educated unemployed youth had pinned high hopes in the Government and genuinely believed that a bonanza was in the offing for them in view of tall announcements having been consistently made by the Government.
