Inter-college symposia & Rangoli Competition held at MAM College

Jammu Nov 29: The IQAC of the Govt MAM. College today organized an Inter-College Symposia and Rangoli Competition to commemorate National Education Day Celebrations.
The topic of the Symposia was "Quality Education: A Positive Step towards National Development" and about 18 participants from varied Colleges participated in the contest. Meanwhile some participants also tried their hand showing their creativity in the Intra College Rangoli Competition.
Chief Guest of the function Prof R D Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs, Jammu University, inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp. He appreciated the efforts of the IQAC in having organized such a meaningful deliberation and exhorted the students to carry forward the teachings of Maulana Azad in mind and spirit for the holistic development of the country.
In his welcome address Prof (Dr) Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College lauded the efforts of the participants and exhorted them to broaden their vision and imbibe the gospels of Maulana Azad in their day to day lives. The Convener of the IQAC Dr. Twinkle Suri presented a brief profile of the activities organized by the centre and deliberated on the life and teachings of Maulana Azad.
A panel of Prof Rita Munshi, Former Principal, Prof Indira Rathore, Former Principal and Prof Asaduliah Wani, Retd. Professor University of Jammu adjudged the performance of participants in symposia whereas Rangoli Competition was adjudged by a panel of Prof Banwari Lal Gupta, Principal, Govt Degree College, Billawar, Prof Kailash Mehra and Prof Rama Badyal.
Prof Banpreet Kour delivered the formal vote of thanks.
Sahil Mehta of Govt MAM College, Mitika Sambyal, GDC Samba, and Ms. Shivani Anand, GCW, Parade, Jammu won the top three ranks in the Inter-College Symposia and Tarun Sharma, Ms Sunaina & Ms Mishika and Ms Sheetal and Ms Rashika were adjudged as the first three winners respectively in the Intra-College Rangoli Competition.
