Jammu, Nov 29: The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command Lieutenant General S R Ghosh, AVSM, SM, ADC accompanied by Bulbul Ghosh, chairperson of Family Welfare Organisation (FWO), Western Command arrived at Technical Airport, Air Force Station Jammu on a two days visit to Tiger Division, today afternoon.
They were received at technical airport by Lt General A K Choudhary, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Rising Star Corps alongwith Madhuri Choudhary and Maj General Surinder Singh, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Tiger Division alongwith Anupama and Officiating AOC, Air Force Station Jammu.
In view of the importance of Tiger Division and the sensitivity of its Area of Responsibility, during his visit, the General will review the operational preparedness of Tiger Division.
He will visit forward areas and will interact with troops. He was briefed by the GOC Tiger Division on operational, training and administrative matters.
