| J&K's Padha secures 97th rank in Half Marathon | | | early times report
JAMMU, Nov 29: A veteran athlete from Jammu, Rajesh Padha brought laurels to the state by securing 97th rank in recently held Airtel Half Marathon at New Delhi. In this prestigious event, which had a participation of over 30,000, Rajesh clocked 1:58.10 among veteran runners while his son, Mrigank Upadhyay also had good timing of 2:17.50 among the general category athletes. "What I have achieved was due to regular morning walk-a routine well maintained for the past 20 overs. What we have gained at the international event, is a message to masses back home that they must maintain their health," said Rajesh Padha.
