UF conducts screening test for achievers batch | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 30: The Universal Foundation—a Non Government Organisation-- today conducted screening test for the proposed Super Achievers Batch for the IAS/KAS aspirants of the state at the premises of SR College of Competitions, here. Nearly 300 young students, opting for Civil Services examinations, appeared in the screening test at two centers of the S.R. College at Gandhi Nagar and Kachi Chowni, here. “After evaluation of the screening test papers through experts engaged by the SR College, deserving students will be shortlisted for interview so as to select final 30 for specialized coaching,” said president of the Universal Foundation, Mr Dineshwar Singh Jamwal. The NGO has roped in SR College of Competitions as for as coaching and guidance part of these selected students is concerned. “The NGO has taken the initiative, so we have extended the services for the coaching part of the whole exercise. The organisation has also engaged a couple of Delhi based institutes for the purpose,” informed Director of the SR College of Competitions, Mr Parveen Kumar Sharma. The result of today’s screening test will be declared within a week’s time and the selected candidates shall be informed accordingly, the NGO said.
