| Govt. issues order for immediate suspension of DIG Niaz Mehmood Mir | | | JAMMU, January 10
Pending enquiry into the alleged irregularities in conducting the physical endurance test for selection of police constables in Jammu and Kathua districts, Mr. Niaz Mehmood Mir (IPS:92), DIG Jammu-Kathua has been placed under suspension with immediate effect.
The physical endurance test for selection of the candidates for recruitment in IRP from Jammu and Kathua districts conducted under the supervision of Mr. Niaz Mehmood Mir, Ex-DIG, Jammu and Kathua is declared as null and void.
Director General of Police, J&K shall constitute the recruitment board afresh for recruitment in IRP from Jammu and Kathua districts. |
