Rabra is new CGM, NABARD | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 30 : Subhash Chandra Rabra has taken over as the new Chief General Manager (CGM) of NABARD Regional Office of Jammu and Kashmir State with effect from 1 December 2011. Rabra started his career on 7 April 1980 in Reserve Bank of India as an officer. He served at New Delhi and Kanpur centres of Reserve Bank of India. After formation of NABARD in 1982, Rabra joined NABARD’s services at Bhopal Regional Office. He rendered his services in various Regional Offices and training establishments of NABARD throughout the country in various capacities. Before joining J&K state he has served at Bhopal, Lucknow, Patna, Jaipur, Guwahati Regional Offices and also at Head Office, Mumbai. He has rich and varied experience in every facet of rural development and is aware of the subtleties of agriculture credit by serving at various centres across the country. Rabra joined J&K Regional Office in July 2011 as General Manager and now he has taken over as Chief General Manager after M. L. Sukhdeve who has retired from the services of NABARD on 30 November 2011. The main focus of Rabra will be to boost up agriculture credit with support of Financial Institutions and cooperation of the Government and ensure inclusive growth with active involvement of farmers and rural community of the State and all other stakeholders. His rich experience gained over the years will definitely help the State to scale up to greater heights in the field of agricultural credit and strengthen Rural Financial Institutions & all other partners engaged in the betterment of rural masses.
