EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 30: The Youth Wing of Nami Dogri Sanstha - The Art Foundation (Regd.) in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu today organized the semi final competition of Bhaint & Devotional Song Competition at K. L. Sehgal Hall, Jammu. 80 participants participated in the competition. Savita Bakshi Ghai was the Chief Guest and Anupama Sharma, patron, youth wing, NDS-TAF presided over the competition. Both the dignitaries inaugurated the competition by enlightening the traditional lamp. The adjudicators were Kalpana Kesar, Principal, Degree College, Bishnah, Romila Guleria, HOD, Music, Govt. College for Women, Parade, Jammu and Rakesh Singh Salathia, renowned singer of the state. Chanchal Sharma, Organizing Secretary, Nami Dogri Sanstha and Pallavi Rajput, Vice-President, Youth Wing, NDS-TAF compared the programme and welcome address was read by Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary, Nami Dogri Sanstha. Surinder Singh Manhas and Vishal Gupta were also co-adjudicators. From junior and senior group of the competition 10 participants have been selected from each group. In the month of December 2011 the finale of Bhaint and Devotional Song Competition will be held Nidhi Kaila, President, Youth Wing, Nami Dogri Sanstha - The Art Foundation (Regd.) and Rohini Anand, Organizer Secretary, Youth Wing, Nami Dogri Sanstha -The Art Foundation (Regd.) organized the programme. S. S. Anand Lehar renowned Urdu Short Story Writer, Poet & and Patron, NDS-TAF, Dogra Harish Kaila, President, Nami Dogri Sanstha - The Art Foundation (Regd.), K. K. Shakir, President, Heritage Forum, Sham Talib, President, Adbi-Kunj and Mohan Lal Komal, Vice-President, Nami Dogri Sanstha – The Art Foundation (Regd.) were also present in the competition.
