| Mangat assures adequate staffing for making LAHDC Kargil more functional | | | Jammu, January 10
To make Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil more vibrant, government is providing adequate officers and others staff by creating new posts including Assistant Director of Information, Assistant Regional Transport Officer and others.
This was revealed in a meeting chaired by Minister for Health and Medical Education and Ladakh Affairs Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma here today.
The meeting was also attended by Minister for Social Welfare Haji Nissar Ali, Chairman CEC LAHDC Kargil Haji Asgar Karbalaie, Principal Secretary planning S. S. Kapoor and Deputy Commissioner/Chief Executive Officer Kargil Mr. K. Isfandyar Khan.
Discussion was held in the meeting on various issues pertaining to LAHDC Kargil functioning and directions were passed on to the concerned quarters to address these issues within shortest possible time. The issues discussed related to posting of two companies of JKAP for Ladakh region, raising of chest capacity of J&K Bank, creation of one post of Block Medical Officer for Kargil, creation of post of Assistant Director Tourism to assist and coordinate tourism activities at Kargil, creation of Director Physical Education, Assistant Physical Education, Chief Librarian and Assistant Librarian. |
