| NSUI held election in GDC Kishtwar. | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU , December 1 :: NSUI Unit Government Degree College Kishtwar and ITI Kishtwar held election for its college unit in which Aftab Siddiqui has been declared as winner among the four contesting candidates.
The elections which was held under the leadership of Deepak Daabu ,District returning Officer Kishtwar. Aftab Siddiqui was declared winner for GDC Kishtwar and defeated his nearest Rival Madan Lal by the margin of 16 votes. Similarly Shabir Ahmed was declared as winner for ITI Kishtwar by DRO Kishtwar. .
Principal of the College, Prof. Dr Ramesh Chander congratulated the President and his team and advised them to work whole heartedly for the welfare of the college and in creating academic ambience in the college.
Several party leaders including MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Senior Congress leader Thakur Jughal Bandari, Mushtaq Hap, Mohinder Singh, Shariq Ahmad Saroori & NSUI activist Saqib Lone greats Aftab Siddiqui and Shabir Ahmed for their success.
Meanwhile a press statement issued by Former District President Youth Congress Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain Advocate stated that Youth Congress Kishtwar organized brief and impressive function at Kishtwar to felicitated Aftab Siddiqui, newly elected president NSUI unit of Govt. Degree College Kishtwar. Speaking on the occasion Sheikh Nasir congratulated Aftab and expressed hope that Aftab will leave no stone unturned in projecting the genuine demands of the students and will work for strengthening of the party.
