| 5 Day Civil defense camp by NSS concludes | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, December 1 : Five day Civil defense camp organized NSS Unit I & III Unit in collaboration with Civil Defence Department concluded today with simple but impressive valedictory function.
Rajeshwar Singh, S.P (South) Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Singh highlighted the role of Civil Defence and Police for care and protection of life and property of the people during the natural calamities.
Prof.(Dr.)Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College welcome the Chief Guest, Resource Persons and other dignitaries. He also advised the NSS Volunteer to take maximum benefits from such type of Programmes in near future.
Sudershan Singh, Senior Instructor of Civil Defence Department presented a brief report regarding the activities undertaken during Five Day Camp, such as, 1st Aid, Fire Fighting, Disaster Management, Safety measure from Earthquakes and natural calamities in theory and practice. During the five session of the Camp, the resource persons were Ram Kumar, Retired lnspector, S.N.Shayam, Chief Warden, Patna Bihar, Alok Nanda, Dy.Divisional Warden.
The entire proceeding of the programme was conducted by Dr M Mazammal Hussain, NSS, Programme Officer Unit-I while vote of thanks was presented by Prof. S C Sharma, NSS, Programme Officer Unit-III.
