JAMMU, Dec 1: Sakshi Koul, Faihara Kouser and Seema Rani secured sprint gold in under-14, under-17 and under-19 year respectively in the annual inter-district divisional level girls’ athletics meet, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at University of Jammu tracks, here today.
While Shakshi and Faihara belong to Jammu district, Seema clinched the 100 meters gold for district Kathua. Other participating districts of Udhampur, Poonch, Rajouri and Samba also did well in other field and track events held today.
Earlier, the competition declared open by Director DYSS, Jai Pal Singh. Among others present were Director Sports and Physical Education of the JU, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau and senior officers of the DYSS.
