YAC, ABVP join in Mahadharna for strong Lokpal Law | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 1: In continuation to its all India call of 72 hours Mahadharna, Youth against Corruption (YAC) J&K Chapter and ABVP on 2nd day organized a massive dharna at Press Club Jammu, demanding introduction of strong Lokpal Law and bringing back black money from foreign banks. On 2nd day youth from different colleges of Jammu, Akhnoor, R.S. Pura and Udhampur along with people from civil society participated in the dharna. State co-convener YAC J&K Sanjay Verma while speaking on the occasion said that “If India has to grow; the corruption must go”, which is only possible by strong Lokpal law. Sanjay Verma further said that the black money lying in foreign banks is the property of the country and common people, which must be brought back to India. In his address GGM Science College President Raghav Sharma said that the money which is lying in Swiss banks must be declared as national property. He further stressed upon the need for compulsory voting and electrol reforms, by which corruption can be controlled at large. Rakesh Sharma ABVP president Jammu Mahanagar while addressing demanded more arrests and strong punishment to those involved in 1.76 crore 2G scam, which has caused a great loss to the Nation. He further said that YAC has decided to reach each and every youth and common man of the country for a stronger movement against corruption. Sharma further appealed to the youth and people from all sections of the society to come forward and join YAC for corruption free India. Other prominent people present in dharna include Balbir Singh, Vipin Sharma, Ranbir Singh Chib, Aman Bali, Rohit Manhas, Varun, Sahil, Narinder Singh, Rahul Thakur, Praveen, Abhimanyu and others.
