JSS kick starts repair of roads, lanes in Sainik Colony

JAMMU, Dec 2:Jan Sewa Sanstha president Gurmeet Kour Randhawa kick started repair and widening work of roads and lanes in Sector E of Sainik Colony today. The event was attended by large number of residents of the colony.
Addressing the gathering, Randhawa said that it is learnt that a few residents are trying to get the political mileage by blocking the blacktopping and widening of roads and lanes of Sainik Colony. The residents are worried that funds for roads may be diverted to other wards if work of roads is stalled and harassment of Govt officials continues. The residents of the locality strongly condemn it.
She said that the Sanstha have a team which took keen interest in overall development of the ward. The prominent amongst them are Ajit Choudhary, NS Bhalla, Capt (retd) Joginder Singh, Amarjit Singh (retd ZEO), Parmeet Kour, Prakash Kour, Sub (retd) HS Duggal, Kasturi Lal Choudhary, Bhajan Singh Choudhary, RD Malhotra and Jaswant Singh, Satti, Kiran Pahu and others.
