| Student ,scholars of the Urdu department qualified JRF examination | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 2: The department of Urdu, University of Jammu today added another feather to its cap when twenty nine student and scholars of the department qualified JRF examination.
Those who qualified JRF exams included Zaheer Ahmed, Mohd Ali Shahbaz, Aftab Ahmed, Ramneek Kumar, Altaf Ahmed, Mohd Ayaz, Raza Mohmood, Zavir Hussain, Sanjiv Kumar, Anju Devi, Zahoor Ahmed and others.
Thirteen (13) students of the department of Urdu has been declared qualified in NET examination. The
total students and scholars who qualified this prestigious exam is 42.
This is a record which has been created by the students of the department of Urdu, University of Jammu. The head of the department of Urdu Shohab Inayat Malik has congratulated the students for their success.
He said that during the last three years the department has excelled academically. The extension Lecturer and Seminars which are being organized in the department is the main source behind the success of this achievement.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Varun Sahni too had congratulated the students of Urdu department who had qualified this prestigious exam. He said that under the leadership of HOD Urdu the department of Urdu had became the most vibrant department of the University.
Varun Sahni assured all kind of help to the department of Urdu for organizing academic activities in the campus. The faculty members included Chain
Singh, Mohd Reyaz Ahmed, Chaman lal, Abdul Rashid Manhas, Farat Shamim had too felicitated the students who had qualified JRF/net on a large scale. They hope that in near future under the leadership of HOD Urdu Shohab Inayat Malik the department would get further boost academically as well as infra structurally.
