| Forest adhoc employees face departmental apathy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 2:- The employees of the forest department working on various posts on make shift arrangements in Pollution Control Board have accused officials of Forest Department turning blind eye towards the demand of their regularization, even after serving in the department since last 14 years.
They said that despite making several representations to the government right from Chief Minister to Ministers for their regularization, but they all turned blind eye towards their demands. Aggrieved employees said that they even called on the Forest Minister Miyan Altaf few days ago but was wondered to see his approach towards redress of their demands.
They said that as per the expression of the Minister concerned it looks like that he is adamant in his approach as far there is regularization of their services is concerned. They said that despite the fact growing pollution is threat to the society, the Pollution Control Board in Jammu and Kashmir is handicapped due to shortage of manpower and blames that it was due to the lack of policy on account of pollution control board, that the government from time to time fails to regularize their services even after 14 years, but in other department all such employees were regularized.
