| Army distributes books to various schools in Khour | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 3: A ceremony was conducted by Army under OP SADBHAVANA at Govt Higher Secondary School Khour to distribute educational, motivation, historical books and computers with workstation to various schools of Khour Block in Akhnoor tehsil.
Educational, motivational and historical books were distributed to Government Higher Secondary School Khour. Government High (Girl) School Khour, Government Middle School Garar, Government High School Hamirpur Sidhar, Government Middel School, Hamirpur Sidhar, Government Middle School Pangali, Government High School Datyal, Government Middle School Gigrial and Government High School Gigrial computer with workstation were also distributed to Govt Higher Secondary School, Khour during the ceremony. These schools had requested to avail such items for the multidimensional development of the children and to strengthen our rural educational system, accepting it Army has handed over books and computers today.
Thanking the Army Brij Lal Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Khour, said that the Army has always supported and provided children of remote villages a great opportunity for learning and becoming more responsible citizens.
Sarang Lal a senior citizen from Hamirpur villages also praised the noble work being done by the Army. The local population wholeheartedly supported and attended ceremony and the also requested to organize such activities in the near feature under Operation Sadbhavana.
