ASHI organises medical health camp at Jagti | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 3:Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) organised a day long medical check-up camp at Jagti near Nagrota. More than 200 persons including women and children from villages like Jagti, Tanda, Saya, Jagdamba and Dhannu were examined by a team of specialists in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Eye and General Physician led by Dr Rajeev Sharma BMO Dansal Block examined the patients who come from far flung areas of the Panchayat. The doctors dealt with the patients very sympathetically and guided them properly and medicines required for their diseases were also distributed. Refreshment to the beneficiaries was served by the members of ASHI. T K Moza Director Family Welfare and Deputy Director Family Welfare Sushil Sharma were also present on the occasion. Awareness about family welfare, immunization, health and mother care was also imparted to the beneficiaries. At the conclusion of the medical camp on behalf of ASHI Prof Kailash Rajput expressed her gratitude to the team of doctors for their deep devotion and dedication in making the medical camp most beneficial to the common masses, particularly the women and children belonging to rural areas where medical facilities are less available.
