| Seminar on cyber security held at GGM Sc College | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 3:A one day seminar on Cyber Security and Ethical hacking was conducted under the guidance of Bhanu Partap Singh (CEH) trainer from Tech Bharat today at GGM Science College, Jammu.
The seminar was organized by BCA Department of the college and was attended by the final year students.
During the programme, introduction to ethical hacking, foot-printing and reconnaissance, scanning network, enumeration, system, Trojans and backdoors, viruses and worms, Sniffers, Social Engineering, Denial of Service and session hijacking were discussed.
Apart from all these topic, he also threw light on what is hacking and how it could be prevented and show various ways how hackers manipulate victims PC. Main attraction was Call spoofing, session hi-jacking, SMS Bombing and how it can be prevented and many other details.
