| Disability Day celebrated | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, December 3 : Disability Day was celebrated on 3rd December in the District Court Complex Kathua, under the auspices of District Legal services Authority Kathua.
The day was celebrated under the Chairmanship of the Chairman, District Legal services Authority A K Sharma and was attended by the Judicial Officers posted at Headquarter, advocates and general public. Arvind Gupta, Retainer Advocate, was the resource person who made people aware of the rights of the persons having mental and physical disability.
Chairman District Legal services authority ( Pr. District and session Judge) Kathua A K Sharma apprised the gathering about the free legal services being provided by the district Legal Service authority to the disabled persons under various Acts and Regulations made under the J&K State Legal Services ( Legal Services to the mentally ill persons and persons with mental disability ) scheme.
