| World Disability day celebrated | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, December 3 : : The World Disability day was observed and celebrated at zone level in the premises of the Government Primary school Chack Ram Singh Hatli Morh by the Zonal Education Office Lakhanpur.
On the occasion the large numbers of disable children along with their parents of different schools of the jurisdiction said zone. The Zonal Educational Officer Gulam. Mohi-U- Din Bhatt was the chief guest accompanied by the head master of the school S. Parveen Singh along with his entire staff.
While speaking on the occasion the Head master S. Parveen Singh briefed upon the status of disability cases in the school surrounding area.
He said there are 14 crore disabled children in the world but our Indian Government has established its first institute for Disabled children in1957 at Mumbai while the 22 vocational rehabilitation centre to train them in various trade and 43 special employment exchanges were established in order to facilitate their registration to, get the employment.
On the occasion all the children were given away gifts and refreshment by the ZEO Lakhanpur. To grace the occasion Mater Hans Raj, Bharat Bhushan , Pushpinder Kour , Aprna Khajuria , Harpreet Kour and Gopal Singh were mainly present.
