Review of expulsion notice on seven BJP MLAs opposed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, December 3: The BJP high command is said to have not sealed all routes for the expelled party MLAs to return to the BJP. Party sources said that slight change in the attitude of the party high command is the result of the response from to the BJP's 10-day long Jan Jaagran yatra. The leadership of the state unit of the BJP has expected huge response from the people to its yatra which had been carried out to mobilize support for the party, sources said further adding, ‘the BJP high command is perturbed over marked decline in the party influence on people in Jammu and Kashmir.’ It is in this context that the party leadership in Delhi is reviewing its decision on expelling seven MLAs who count as far as their influence on people is concerned. Meanwhile sources said that the loyalists have opposed any change in the expulsion notice on the plea that it will be a sign of weakness. They want high command to stick to it decision so that in future none dared to violate the party whip during any election. In the meantime the loyalists have conveyed to the high command that there was no reason for panic because all mainstream political par ties in the state were suffering serious erosion.
