LC Members raise issues in Zero Hour

Srinagar July 31 – In the Zero Hour in Legislative Council members today raised various questions relating to the public interest. Issues pertaining to 8th October earthquake, healthcare and electricity facilities, killings in Libnan, damage to forests, murder in Domana, creation of administrative units, ex-gratia relief, availability of cement, scarcity of water in some areas, shortage of teaching staff, facilities in circuit house, sports council, security to corporators and allotment of funds to local bodies institutions, employment, rates of essential commodities were prominent.
Those who spoke in the Zero Hour included Mr. B. A. Naaz, Mr. Bilal Ahmed Lodhi, Mr. G. R. Kar, Mr. Lal Mohammed Sabir, Prof. Bhim Singh, Mr. Ved Prakash, Mr. Nazir Ahmed Mir, Mr. Asok Sharma, Mr. Mohammad Iqbal, Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil, Mr. T. S. Wazir, Mr. G. N. Lone, Mrs. Farida Mir, Mr. Arvinder Singh, Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Bhat, Mr. A. R. Qureshi, Mrs. Sakina Ittoo and Mr. A. R. Tukroo.
