| Girl drowns to death | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Dec 3:A girl drowned to death in a 10 feet deep water tank here on Saturday afternoon.
Her motionless body was retrieved with the help of septic tanks that siphoned water out of the tank.
According to some villagers, the young girl identified as Neha daughter of Yog Raj of Ratiyaan was trying to take out a pot of cabbage put in the tank for washing purposes, however, the girl fell into the water tank. Police have registered a case in this connection and is investigating the matter.
However, the body of the girl was handed over to her relatives for last rites after postmortem which was conducted in Government Hospital, Udhampur.
