| Faculty Development Workshop concludes at GCW Parade | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 3:Fifteen Day faculty development workshop on enhancing computer skills organized by Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Govt College for Women Parade in collaboration with Department of Life Long Learning, Jammu University, concluded at GCW Parade today.
Principal of the college Dr Kiran Bakshi was the Chief Guest. Prof Parveen Singh HoD Computer Sciences in his introductory note welcomed the chief guest, Staff from Department of Life Long Learning Jammu University, experts from digital matrix and other staff members.
He said that the main motto of the workshop was to spread the knowledge of computers among all staff members and hope that staff must have taken the maximum benefit from it.
He told participants that in this era of IT, “E” has become a buzzword and everything is revolving around “E” , viz E-learning, E-Governance, E-commerce, E-health, E-Agriculture and the only way to get maximum benefit of this E-world is to learn much about it.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Kiran Bakshi congratulated the participants for the successful completion of computer basic course and appreciated Computer Science department for organizing such workshops.
