| JJSF continues protest against FDI in retail | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 3:Jammu Joint Students’ Federation continued their protest against Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in retail at Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College here today.
The protesting students led by Sahil Singh, JJSF president GGM Science College, said that the FDI in retail introduced by the central government will create serious problem in coming days.
However, the government is interested in extending profits to foreign multi-brand companies.
It seems that if it is a kind of deal between government and the foreign companies. The protesters said that the government is not thinking about the welfare of its own people.
Sahil Singh said that it is good that our youth is uniting and seems to be interested in fighting against government.
He said that JJSF will continue its protest until government rolls back the decision.
