| Improve conditions of roads, drains in Kishtwar: Sheikh Nasir | | |

JAMMU, Dec 4:
Prominent Congress leader and former district president Youth Congress Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain has expressed concern over the bad conditions of roads, lanes and drains with in Municipal committee Kishtwar.
In a statement issued to press, Sheikh Nasir said that roads within Kishtwar town and in its surrounding areas are in bad condition and need immediate repair. He added that while sewage water is flowing on streets, heaps of garbage can be seen on various places even in front of DC office and district Hospital. Congress leader has further said that the authorities were repeatedly urged about the bad condition of roads but nothing has been done till date. He has said that most of the link roads which are under R&B department are in dilapidated condition and has alleged that besides R&B department, Municipal Committee Kishtwar has also failed to improve the conditions of roads and lanes. The lanes are in a bad condition putting the people to inconvenience whereas poor drainage system causes more inconvenience. He has said that link roads including Poochal road, Poohie Road, Mellan Trigam Road and Hudri roads are in worst conditions and it is too difficult for the children and the age old to venture out of their homes.
Sheikh Nasir has appealed the authorities at the helm of affairs to direct the concerned to repair the roads, lanes and drains in Kishtwar town and adjoining areas immediately so that general public may heave a sigh of relief.
