ATA asks govt to review regularization policy for ReZs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Dec 4: The district president of Agriculture Technocrats Association (ATA) Sanjeev Verma urged the coalition Government led by Omar Abdullah and Agriculture Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir to make effective initiatives to regularize the Rehabr-e-Ziraat (ReZ) employees on the basis of batch, overage, minimum time frame of five years and provide with Junior Agriculture status. He said that the policy which has been declared by Cabinet under the leadership of CM Omar Abdullah to regularize all the 2600 ReZ employees is appreciable. However, the policy is to be implemented in phased manner after completion of 7, 8 and 9 years of service in 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively which is not doing the justice particularly with those who attained overage and belonged to batches of 1996, 97, 98,99,2000 and in general for all ReZ employees. Verma urged the Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister to review the cabinet decision. |
