10+2 PLA holds meet to discuss various issues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 4: A general body meeting was held by 10+2 Lecturers (PSC Qualified) of Bhaderwah Tehsil to discuss genuine grievances and issues including the discrimination by JKBOSE. A number of issues were discussed such as violating the rules and norms of the JKBOSE while allotting the examination duties. Some incharge lecturers are repeatedly deputed as superintendents and inspectors for the examinations of JKBOSE whereas, the JKPSC confirmed lecturers are deputed as Deputy Superintendents and Assistant superintendents. The height of violating the norms is that the same incharge lecturers are deputed as superintendents for the last five years and more as if no other efficient lecturers are available to the JKBOSE. The rights of PSC lecturers are repeatedly usurped by the Board authorities. The members of the association felt that there is a strong nexus between some lecturers, board authorities and concerned authorities. The association while discussing such issues felt the need for a high level probe by the concerned higher authorities and also requested the education minister to intervene. The association also threatened that if their demands are not met the JKPSC qualified lecturers will boycott duties of all the Board examinations even practical examinations in near future and will launch a massive agitation against such biased approach towards the JKPSC 10+2 lecturers on state level. |
