| JYM supports NSF to expose Vice Chancellor, | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 4:
Jammu Youth Morcha (JYM) has extended support to National Secular Forum (NSF) for its role in raising several public interest issues.
He said that it is only NSF which is fighting for the injustice being done with Jammu University students.
In a statement issued here President JYM Dr Sanjay Sharma pointed out that there was no transparency and accountability in the University departments and those at the helm of the affairs has been blatantly looting the student’s exchequer with the patronage of their political masters.
JYM president demanded from the Governor NN Vohra not to give extension to ‘corrupt’ Vice Chancellor.
He exhorted the Morcha workers to expose misdeeds of this regime before the masses. He said that every section of the JU has been facing hardship due to the misdeeds of this regime headed by Prof Varun Sahni.
He further said that it is easy to make academic calendar but to implement it, it needs appropriate administration. He said that university has failed at all fronts in supervision management properly.
Sharma added that examination calendar is being by force being followed by the University. He said that where syllabus of the students is not completed the exams are being taken.
He said that though NSF is striving hard to expose the bungling in JU, the VC is terming the anti-corruption campaign of NSF as malafide and motivated. The JYM extends support to the cause of NSF and warn JU management of not underestimating the strength of student community.
He said that JYM support NSF to make people aware of the facts to expose the corrupt officials.
